The position of the Armenian diaspora of Russia is stronger than that of the Russian in Armenia. As reported by "Arminfo" agency, deputy chief of the department of external relations of the Moscow government Boris Silayev stated it. In his words, 10 Armenians schools sponsored by Moscow mayor Yuri Luzhkov function in Russia today, as well as 5 Armenian cultural centers. Speaking of the cases of beating Armenians residing in Moscow, which have become frequent, Boris Silayev emphasized that "there are geeks everywhere." Thereupon, in his words, the Moscow leadership takes all measures to rule out such events in the future.
