TURKEY HAS NO CHANCES FOR INCLUSION IN EU
Prime minister of Denmark presiding in the European Union Anders Fogh Rasmussen stated that no dates for beginning negotiations on Turkey's accession to the EU would be specified at the coming Copenhagen summit. "Like other candidates, Turkey should meet all European criteria before holding negotiations on joining our organization," - the Danish government leader told "Die Welt" German newspaper. In Rasmussen's words, Turkey has not fulfilled these demands yet. For many years the main claim of laid by the EU leadership to official Ankara has been the human rights violations and the unsettled condition of the Kurdish problem.
