Legislative Assembly of Brazil's Sao Paulo state adopted Resolution 1266/2014 declaring April 24 the Armenian Genocide recognition and remembrance day, Foreign Ministry press service reports.

The draft was introduced by the Assembly member Pedro Tobias.
