Sony has announced that its 2015 TV line-up will be available this summer - and that includes the super-slim X900C, Digital Spy reports.
The X900C measures just 4.9mm at its thinnest point, which is slimmer than an iPhone 6 - pretty impressive considering this is an LCD, not OLED screen.
There will be two models of the skinny television, the X900C which measures 55 and 65 inches, and the X910C which comes in at 75 inches. Both offer a 4K resolution, boast Sony's new X1 processor and run Android TV OS.
Sony has managed to achieve a razor thin bezel by bonding the backlight and glass panel externally, rather than using the traditional internal method. Of course, the television still has a thicker box at the rear of the device, which houses I/O ports and internal circuits.
The X900C isn't Sony's flagship television - that title goes to the X930C which Sony announced would get High Dynamic Range.
Sony has stated that both models will be available for pre-order starting Sunday, April 26 with prices yet to be announced.
