Monument of «Algerian Genocide» to Be Set in Ankara if France Adopts Law on Armenian Genocide
Ankara Municipal Council decided to establish a monument to «the Algerian genocide,» if the French Parliament adopts a bill criminalizing the denial of the fact of the Armenian Genocide. As Eni Shafak newspaper writes on the issue of October 11, the monument will be established on a visible part of the Paris Highway in Ankara, Mayor Melih Gyocek reported. Earlier a decision to establish a memorial to «the Algerian genocide» was adopted by Adana Municipality, reports the Azg.
