An elderly Armenian woman was killed in Jisr al-Shughur, Syria, an anti-Nusra Front Facebook page reports, according to Arevelk.

60-year-old Marie Musa Panos refused to abandon her house and leave the district even in the most dangerous moments of war.

Nusra Front militants wounded the woman, who later died.

A young Armenian man, Armen Zhirayr Avetisian was shot dead on the Syrian-Turkish border, as he and his parents were attempting to cross the frontier.
