Jennifer Aniston to star in “What Alice Forgot” bestseller adaptation

Jennifer Aniston is about to get forgetful. The actress is in talks to star in the TriStar Pictures film What Alice Forgot, based on Liane Moriarty's best-selling book, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

Aniston, who can be seen in 2016's ensemble comedy Mother's Day, is set to play Alice, a 40-year-old who suffers head trauma and awakens believing that she is still 25 and that her life is far better than it actually is.

No director is attached. Shauna Cross (If I Stay) wrote the script's latest draft, with the studio looking to bring on a new writer for a rewrite.

Kerry Kohansky-Roberts at Anonymous Content is producing, alongside Steve Golin. Vincent Sheehan is executive producing, and TriStar's Nicole Brown is overseeing.
