Azerbaijani armed forces continuously violated the ceasefire on the contact line with Nagorno Karabakh on October 25-31.

According to the NKR Defense Ministry, 400 ceasefire violations by Azerbaijani armed forces were registered in the reporting period, with over 8000 shots fired from various caliber artillery weapons, as well as 60-mm mortars.

Karabakh defense forces continue controlling the situation, retaliating in case of necessity.

The OSCE Mission conducted on Tuesday, October 27, a monitoring of the contact line between Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan in Martakert-Tartar road section, with the OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs participating, Karabakh President’s press office reports.

During the monitoring, the OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs and Ambassador Kasprzyk crossed the line of contact from Karabakh to Azerbaijan.

At the end of the monitoring, however, shots fired from submachine guns by the Azerbaijani side were registered.
