Sally Field, Max Greenfield in “Hello, My Name Is Doris” trailer

Roadside Attractions and Stage 6 Films have released the first trailer for Michael Showalter‘s acclaimed indie comedy “Hello, My Name Is Doris”, which stars Sally Field and Max Greenfield, TheWrap reports.

“Doris” finds Field playing an isolated woman who’s motivated by a self-help seminar to romantically pursue a younger co-worker (Greenfield), who introduces her to the local hipster scene.

The film features an impressive comedic ensemble including Natasha Lyonne (“Orange Is the New Black”), Wendi McLendon-Covey (“The Goldbergs”), Kumail Nanjiani (“Silicon Valley”), Kyle Mooney (“Saturday Night Live”), Beth Behrs (“2 Broke Girls”), Rich Sommer (“Mad Men”) and musician Jack Antonoff.

“Wet Hot American Summer” star Showalter, who made his directorial debut with the underrated 2005 comedy “The Baxter,” co-wrote the script with Laura Terruso.

A co-production between Haven Entertainment and Red Crown, “Doris” was produced by Haven’s Jordana Mollick and Kevin Mann and Red Crown’s Daniela Taplin Lundberg and Riva Marker, while Daniel Crown served as executive producer.

Roadside Attractions will release “Hello, My Name Is Doris” in 2016.
