The American-Turkish relations are bound by the Kurdish problem. If Kurds gain majority in the Iraqi government Iraq will be a menace for Turkey, ARF Bureau's Hay Dat and Political Office Director Kiro Manoian said in Yerevan today. "Formation of independent Kurdistan can shake up the domestic situation in Turkey and that is why it's aspired for alliance with the U.S. which for its part needs Turkey as a strategic partner in the Islamic world. Over this reason American politicians avoid term 'genocide' when speaking of the massacre of 1915," Manoian underscored.
