In a vote of 70-66, the Parliamentary Asembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) disapproved the anti-Armenian report “Escalation of violence in Nagorno Karabakh and other occupied territories of Azerbaijan” prepared by British parliamentarian Robert Walter from the PACE Committee on Political Affairs.

The PACE, however, adopted another anti-Armenian report, “Inhabitants of Frontier Regions of Azerbaijan are Deliberately Deprived of Water” by Milica Markovic from Bosnia and Herzegovina, in a vote of 98-71.

The reports were put to the vote following the discussions at the PACE plenary session.
