Azerbaijan uses grenade launcher, mortar in ceasefire breach overnight

Azerbaijani armed forces violated the ceasefire on the night of January 26-27, the Nagorno Karabakh Defense Army said.

According to the report, Azeri troops have fired around 350 shots from various caliber weapons, including an 82-mm mortar, as well as an RPG-7 grenade launcher.

Karabakh troops continue controlling the situation on the contact line and retaliate only in case of extreme necessity.

Azerbaijani armed forces violated the ceasefire and attempted sabotage on the night of January 25-26.

According to the report, Azeri troops have fired around 600 shots from various caliber weapons, including 60- and 82-mm mortars, as well as an AGS-17 grenade launcher.

Besides, on January 26, at around 4:30 am, special units of the Azeri army initiated a subversive attack in the southern direction of the contact line with Nagorno Karabakh.

Having timely identified the rival groups, Karabakh Defense Army units took retaliatory measures, throwing the saboteurs back to their positions.
