“Iron Maiden: Legacy of the Beast” unveils fist-pumping new trailer

Iron Maiden: Legacy of the Beast's new trailer will have you banging your head and reaching for the air guitars, Digital Spy said.

The fist-pumping trailer begins with an evil force shattering Eddie's soul into millions of shards as he's flying through space.

Accompanied by a kick ass Maiden song, Eddie crash lands on a planet and confronts the source of this evil.

According to Legacy of the Beast developer Roadhouse, Eddie will regain his strength and new powers by collecting the shards of his shattered soul.

Eddie will also have the power to switch between many forms, each with unique powers.

Iron Maiden: Legacy of the Beast will be available this summer on iOS and Android platforms.

The game is said to have elements of Final Fantasy about it, as players duke it out in turn-based battles. Eddie even has "limit break"-style specials.

“As Eddie, you will explore different worlds, travel through time, and battle characters inspired by Iron Maiden's albums and artwork.

And it's all backed by the band's music, including previously unheard live recordings of Iron Maiden classics adapted for the game by engineer Tony Newton under the close scrutiny of bassist and founding member Steve Harris,” Digital Spy said.
