In the framework of the Armenia-Cyprus cultural cooperation, a replica of an Old Jugha khachkar will be installed in a garden near the island state’s Foreign Ministry on Wednesday, March 16.
Presidents of both countries will attend the event, with Armenia’s Culture Minister Hasmik Poghosyan and Cyprus’ Minister of Education and Culture Costas Kadis also participating in the ceremony.
The original dating back to 1598, the replica was authored by prominent master and khachkar-maker Ruben Nalbandian.
