Arsenal could be targeting one of Borussia Dortmund’s best players this season: Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Sport Witness reports.

The Armenian winger has scored 19 goals and assisted his teammates 23 times this season in 41 appearances, and with only one year left on his contract, the English team will reportedly come snap him up.

Liverpool were reported to have come close last season, and could come back for more this summer, but Arsenal are also expected to join the race.

Represented by Mino Raiola, Mkhitaryan is sure to have a few suitors this summer, and Dortmund will have to be either very stubborn or offer him a new and much improved contract, Sport Witness says.

The German SportBild believe the player is valued at around €28m, and considering his form this year, Dortmund could ask for a bit more.
