Armenia airline eyes 17 destinations as it preps for April maiden flight

A new flag carrier, Armenia, was granted a certificate for regular flights, with the decision adopted at the Economy Ministry meeting on the regular commercial air traffic.

According to a statement by the Ministry, the company intends to fly in 17 directions. Furthermore, the ministry is set to monitor implementation of obligations assumed by the company, Novosti-Armenia reports.

Israeli capital Tel-Aviv will be the airline's first destination on April 21.

The airline will further fly to Russia – Moscow and other cities – as well as to Tehran, Prague, Kiev, Minsk, Barcelona, Larnaca and London.
