A dozen Turkish warplanes hit and destroyed militant Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) targets in camps in northern Iraq late on Wednesday, March 23, the armed forces said on Thursday, according to Reuters.

The F-16 and F-4 jets carried out the operation at 9 p.m. (1900 GMT) on Wednesday against camps in the Hakkurk, Haftanin, Avasin and Basyan areas, destroying 11 targets including ammunition depots and shelters, the statement said.
