Armenian Parliament Speaker to take part in inauguration of president of Turkmenistan
On February 13 an Armenian delegation at the head of RA NA Speaker Tigran Torosyan is due to depart for Ashkhabad to participate in inauguration ceremony of the president of Turkmenistan Urbanguli Berdimuhamedov, the RA NA press office reports. Deputy Gourgen Arsenian, RA Deputy Foreign Minister Gevorg Gharibjanian and "ArmRosGazprom" director general Karen Karapetyan are also attending the ceremony.
Last Sunday for the first time in the history of the country alternative presidential elections were held in Turkmenistan. Some 98.65 % of those eligible, more than 2.6 million people took part in the voting.
