Berlin is concerned about signs of a renewed escalation in Nagorno Karabakh, RIA Novosti cited Germany's Federal Foreign Office spokesman Martin Schaefer as saying on Friday, May 6.

He said that Berlin urges the parties to the conflict to take all steps to avoid renewed voilence.

The spokesman added that Berlin also supports the efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group and the Co-chairs towards settling the conflict.
