Azerbaijani armed forces attempted to set fire to the grass in the neutral zone on the Nagorno Karabakh contact line on Thursday, May 19.

As the Karabakh Defense Army reports, the Azerbaijani side sought to burn the cultivated areas on the Armenian territory. The incident occurred in the eastern (Akna) direction of the contact line.

Nagorno Karabakh considers the incident a provocation.

The OSCE Mission on Thursday conducted a planned monitoring of the line of contact between Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan in the eastern direction of Martakert.No ceasefire violation was registered.
