An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.7 struck the border area between Armenia and Georgia on Tuesday, July 12.
The quake centered in the territory of Georgia, 13 km northeast to the village of Bavra, Armenia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.
Tremors were felt in the north of Armenia, including the cities of Gyumri, Stepanavan and Alaverdi, as well as the capital city, Yerevan.
