Armenia says Turkey better stay away from Armenian-Azeri relations

An Armenian Foreign Ministry spokesman on Tuesday, July 26 urged Turkey to distance itself from the relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said earlier that his visit to Azerbaijan prior to the failed coup in Ankara tackled the mending of ties between Baku and Yerevan.

In a conversation with PanARMENIAN.Net, spokesman Tigran Balayan said Armenia doesn’t need Turkey’s intervention in relations with Azerbaijan.

“If Turkey really wants to be helpful, it’d better stay away from the issue,” he said.
