The Collective Security Strategy will be discussed at a summit of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) on October 14 in Yerevan, CSTO Secretary General Nikolay Bordyuzha said Tuesday, September 13 in Minsk, Belarus.
“We have practically agreed the document on collective security and will introduce it to Presidents on October 14,” Bordyuzha said at a meeting with Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko, RIA Novosti reports.
It was reported earlier that the new CSTO Secretary General will represent Armenia. The official’s name will be announced at the October 14 summit.
Russian media reports suggest that Armenia’s Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan will be appointed the new CSTO chief.
