ArmProd EXPO 2016, a specialized exhibition of agricultural produce opened in Yerevan on Friday, October 21. President Serzh Sargsyan attended the launch of the event which will run though Sunday.

The fair aims to present agricultural products and possibilities of processing raw materials, assess the competitiveness of the produce, expand export opportunities and establish business contacts, also displaying high-quality agricultural and food product range to visitors.

90 organizations from Armenia’s provinces and Nagorno Karabakh, representing local agricultural product processing industry participate in the trade show.

President Sargsyan toured the fair, got familiarized with the products and participants, addressing the further development of the sector and the challenges it faces.
