Manchester United midfield Henrikh Mkhitaryan has been included in Goal.com's list of 100 most expensive players of all time.

The Armenia international's transfer from German club Borussia Dortmund to Manchester United in 2016, which cost the English team €42 million, put him in the 43rd spot overall.

Cristiano Ronaldo (Manchester United to Real Madrid), Gareth Bale (Tottenham to Real Madrid) and Paul Pogba (Juventus to Manchester United) top the list with €94m, €101m and €110m transfer fees, respectively.

Last month Mkhitaryan's goalscoring exploits saw him claim all three spots in United's goal of the month competition, while his scorpion effort against Sunderland won the Premier League award. Mkhitaryan has started four of United's last six matches since he returned from an ankle injury.
