Ukraine bewares of Kosovo independence
When addressing the UN General Assembly's 62nd session, Ukrainian First Deputy Foreign Minister Vladimir Khandogiy touched upon the protracted conflicts on the GUAM territory.
"This conflicts lead to destabilization and represent a menace for the region. They jeopardize sovereignty and territorial integrity of the states and hamper their social and economic development," Khandogiy said.
He voiced concern that international efforts for resolution of protracted conflicts have produced no effect so far. He called on the international community to take action, the UN news center reported.
