Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin and U.S. Ambassador to Russia John Beyrle have met to discuss the situation in Transcaucasia and the ways to alleviate tensions in the region, basing on the outcomes of Genevan talks.

The diplomats also referred to the conflicts in Nagorno Karabakh and Transnistria.
