Armenia is among countries with middle level of the human development. According the information of the UNO representative office in Yerevan, the UNO report on "Human Development 2002" stated Armenia is 76 among 173 counties included in the report." In comparison with last year, Armenia has taken a step forward and lets Lebanon have the next place taking the lead over Philippines" the press release states. At that, the document states that according to the human development index, Armenia takes a place lower by 10 points in 2002 than in 1990.
