Turkey's wish for monitoring center in Karabakh "at odds with Russia's"

Turkey’s statement on the creation of a monitoring center in Nagorno-Karabakh is at odds with the Kremlin’s view, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Wednesday, November 11.

"This is not in line with our understanding," he told reporters on Wednesday when asked about a statement from the Turkish President's office that the center for monitoring the ceasefire in Karabakh is planned to be located in the territory occupied by Azerbaijan.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Russian and Azerbaijani Presidents Vladimir Putin and Ilham Aliyev have signed a deal to end the war in Karabakh after 44 days. Karabakh (Artsakh) President Arayik Harutyunyan said on Tuesday that he has agreed to the deal signed by Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan.
