A list of shops trying to make a market of dollar upsurge was submitted to Public Revenue Committee
On Mar 9 2009 SCPEC submitted a list of shops trying to make a market of dollar upsurge to Public Revenue Committee, SPEC official website reported.

The list was addressed to the Committee for registration of price increase instances, revealed during inspections at the indicated sale points. According to data received from regions, granulated sugar, butter and vegetable oil, rice and flour are sold at higher prices that in the capital.

State Committee plans inspections in business entities.

According to the report, business entities at flour market returned to the prices registered before the dollar upsurge. Thus flour prices comprised: first rate flour: AMD7800 per 50kg, and prime rate flour: AMD8820 per 50kg. Retail price for sugar is AMD 245 per kg (AMD270 per kg at peak period).


The committee is considering inspection the sphere of medicines, household appliances, vegetable oil and butter production, and keeps monitoring the other markets.
