Turkey's Pegasus Airlines to operate Yerevan-Istanbul flights

The Civil Aviation Committee of Armenia has granted permission to Turkish carrier Pegasus Airlines for launching Istanbul-Yerevan flights, the press service of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure has said, according to Sputnik Armenia.

The Armenian airline Flyone received a similar permit earlier.

The Civil Aviation Committee has said that Flyone Armenia will be the first Armenian airline to start operating flights to Turkey since 2015.

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said in mid-December that Turkey and Armenia will restart charter flights between Istanbul and Yerevan. The two countries have no diplomatic relations.
