Yerevan, Moscow ink deal to cooperate in information security

The Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, has met with his Russian counterpart Nikolai Patrushev to sign an agreement on cooperation in the field of information security.

Grigoryan traveled to Moscow as part of a delegation headed by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Tuesday, April 19.

During the meeting, the sides agreed that "the direction of further bilateral cooperation will include investigating crimes related to the use of information and communication technologies for terrorism and other terrorist purposes," according to a statement from the Armenian Security Council.

The interlocutors also discussed several issues related to regional security.
