Azerbaijan's aggression takes center stage at Armenian-Czech meeting

Chairman of the Parliamentary Commission on Defense and Security of Armenia Andranik Kocharyan has met with Ivan Pocuch, Head of the Security Policy Department of the Czech Foreign Ministry, to talk about Azerbaijan's large-scale attack on Armenia on September 13.

According to information provided by the National Assembly, Kocharyan noted that thanks to the targeted response and the efforts of the international community, a fragile ceasefire has established.

He expressed his gratitude in connection with the adoption by the Foreign Relations Committee of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic of resolutions on the return of the Armenian prisoners of war.

Pocuch noted that the Czech Republic, as a country that assumed the presidency of the Council of the European Union, expresses support for Armenia.

The meeting came on the heels of another meeting between the leaders of Armenia, Azerbaijan, France the European Union, during which Armenia agreed to support the EU civilian mission along the border with Azerbaijan.
