From September 21 to November 11, a total of 2,820 Russians registered at a place of residence in Armenia, the press service of the country’s police said in response to a request from RBC.
The figures are almost four times more than in the same period last year when 722 Russian citizens received temporary registration.
The number of applications for residence permit among Russians also increased: in a month and a half, 708 people applied for the document. During the same period last year it was only 277.
At the same time, one Russian citizen was denied a residence permit in 2022, and another one in 2021. The police, however, did not provide reasons for rejection.
