Around 1550 applications were filed with Public Council
Around 1550 applications, including 400 from public organizations, 60 from foundations and 150 from unions and associations were filed with Public Council, RA ex-Prime Minister and Temporary Public Council Coordinator Vazgen Manukyan told a news conference today.
Majority of applications were filed to join commissions for Youth affairs, Sports, Culture, Science and Education.
When questioned by PanARMENIAN.Net reporter about start time of activities, Vazgen Manukyan replied that Council is still being formed so it's too early to schedule the exact time.
On Mar. 11 RA President Serzh Sargsyan signed a decree to appoint 12 Public Council Members out of 36. Application deadline was Apr. 18.
