Armen Khatchatryan: Armenians look into the future, never forgetting the past
Armenia is ready to normalize ties with Turkey, RA Ambassador to Ukraine Armen Khatchatryan told a news conference entitled "April 24: 1915 Armenian Genocide Victims Commemoration Day" held on Apr. 23 in Kiev.
"Armenians look into the future, never forgetting the past. Armenia is ready to normalize ties with Turkey," Armen Khatchatryan stressed.
Says the Ambassador, "the Armenian issue and memory of our victims are always in our hearts. Over a million people from all over the world arrive in Yerevan on April 24 to bow their heads in memory of tragic massacre."
"We're the people of great unity and I hope that our struggle will prevent repetition of such tragedies in future," Analitika.at.ua cited Armen Khatchatryan as saying.
