Armenia comments on Serbia’s defense cooperation with Azerbaijan

The Armenian Foreign Ministry has commented on the defense cooperation between Serbia and Azerbaijan, Sputnik Armenia reports.

Close cooperation has recently been established between Azerbaijan and Serbia. After Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s visit to Serbia, media reports revealed that Belgrade sold 48 Nora-B52 self-propelled guns to Azerbaijan for a total cost of 311 million euros.

Sputnik Armenia asked the Armenian Foreign Ministry whether Armenian officials have discussed the matter with their Serbian counterparts, taking into account good relations between the two countries.

“There is constant active interaction with Serbia. At the same time, we inform you that all issues on the agenda are discussed if necessary,” the Foreign Ministry said.

It was reported on February 1 that the Ministries of Defense of Azerbaijan and Serbia signed a plan for bilateral military cooperation for 2024.
