BUNDESTAG DEPUTY THINKS SOUTH CAUCASIAN COUNTRIES SHOULD NOT BE ADMITTED INTO EUROPEAN UNION AT SAME TIME
The European Union membership issue should not be approached from the regional point of view and Caucasian countries should not be admitted into EU at the same time. Bundestag Deputy, member of the parliamentary commission on Germany-South Caucasus relations Irmgard Schwaetzer has stated that. At the meeting with the chair of the Armenian parliamentary commission for foreign relations Ohanes Ohanesian, the issue of Armenia's membership in the EU as well as issues on economic development were discussed. The parties noted, for the integration to the EU, the issues requiring constitutional changes for which a referendum holding is needed are to be solved.
