Armenia, U.S. customs authorities to boost assistance with new deal

The Armenian government Thursday, May 30 approved an agreement with the U.S. government on mutual assistance between the two countries' customs authorities.

The agreement is expected to boost cooperation between the customs services of Armenia and the United States, strengthen bilateral relations, and expand opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation.

According to the government, the agreement will also contribute to the detection and prevention of customs violations, the creation of ways to facilitate the safe and fast exchange of information.
