French-Armenian journalist returns to France after 41-day hunger strike

French-Armenian journalist Leo Nicolian, who was on a hunger strike at Yerevan's Zvartnots airport for 41 days after he was denied entry to the country, has returned to France.

Nicolian said on social media on Sunday, June 2 that he needs to improve his health in order to “continue the fight”. The journalist noted that he was not bothered about losing 19 kg.

French military journalist of Armenian origin Leo Nicolian was not allowed to enter Armenia. In protest, he stayed at the airport and went on a hunger strike.
