Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has declared that signing the peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan by the end of the year was “up to” Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Daily Sabah reports.

"Turkey hopes for a peace treaty to be signed and peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan,” Erdogan said.

“I saw in my meeting with the Armenian prime minister that positive steps were taken, as well," he said.
