Armenia won't join CSTO drills in Kyrgyzstan

Armenia does not plan to take part in the Command and Staff Exercises with the CSTO called Interaction - 2024 in early September, the organization reports.

The Command and Staff Exercises will be held on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic from September 3 to 15.

"The Armenian side informed that it does not plan to participate in the exercises," the report says.

Aa reported earlier, Armenia will not send its representatives to another military exercise conducted by the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) either.

Units of special forces from CSTO-member states, also including Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan, will gather in Russia’s Siberian city of Novosibirsk on August 14 for three-day drills codenamed Cobalt-2024.
