The Navy of the Islamic Republic of Iran conducted an exercise in the Caspain Sea on Tuesday, August 13, Mehr News Agency reports.

Thenaval defense exercise was held at the Army Navy base in Astara on Tuesday evening.

During the exercise, the hypothetical targets were attacked.

The drill was aimed to prepare the navy's forces as much as possible, Hamid Mousavi, the deputy governor of Astara, said on Tuesday.
