Former Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili described the establishment of a strategic partnership between the United States and Armenia as a historic milestone. She shared this view on her X account.
She emphasized that this partnership aims to promote stability and peace in the region.
"Georgia will also restore its strategic partnership with the United States once new elections ensure the implementation of the people's will," she wrote.
On January 14, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken signed a strategic partnership agreement in Washington that aims to reinforce cooperation between the two nations.
During the signing ceremony, Blinken stated that a U.S. team specializing in customs and border security would travel to Armenia in the coming weeks to work with Armenian partners on strengthening border security capabilities.
