Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that a leader of a CSTO member state has discussed an operation against Armenia. Speaking on the Family Podcast, he revealed that Armenia’s reliance on the CSTO as a primary security model has come under scrutiny. He explained that this approach, developed over centuries, often left the nation vulnerable.
“We’ve seen a pattern: when Force A threatens us, we turn to Force B for help. But then Force B becomes the threat, and we seek support from Force A. Eventually, these forces strike a deal, leaving us with no ally to resolve our issues,” Pashinyan said.
He emphasized the need “to adopt softer tools for ensuring long-term national security.”
