The government has made five decisions to raise pensions since the 2018 revolution, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan wrote on his Facebook page.
“As a result, the minimum pension in our country has doubled, and the average pension has increased by about 22%.
In addition, since 2022, pensioners have received 16.5 billion drams in refunds through the cashback system for non-cash transactions.
The number of pensioners using the cashback system has been steadily growing, reaching 289,813 people by December 2024,” the post reads.
