Armenia ready to deepen cooperation with Bulgaria: PM

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has sent a congratulatory message to Rosen Zhelyazkov on his election as Bulgaria’s Prime Minister. Pashinyan emphasized Armenia's willingness to engage in more active cooperation with Bulgaria.

The Prime Minister noted that the collaboration between the two countries is founded on cultural and historical ties, as well as mutual trust and benefit.

"On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Armenia and myself, I warmly congratulate you on your election as Prime Minister of the Republic of Bulgaria. I am confident that under your skilled leadership, friendly Bulgaria will continue its progressive path and achieve many successes.

I am pleased to note that the history of intergovernmental relations between Armenia and Bulgaria is marked by the centuries-old friendship of our peoples, shared values, cultural closeness, mutual trust, and cooperation based on mutual benefit. These ties extend across both bilateral and multilateral platforms, to which your personal contribution has been significant.

Armenia highly values Bulgaria's continued support for advancing the Armenia-European Union agenda and is ready for more active cooperation with Bulgaria. I am confident that through joint efforts, we will further strengthen and deepen the bilateral agenda for the benefit of our friendly countries and peoples.
