Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan presented the progress in the peace process with Azerbaijan during his meeting with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte at the World Economic Forum in Davos. He emphasized the Armenian government’s steadfast commitment to a peace agenda.
The NATO Secretary General underlined the importance of ensuring peace and stability in the region, reaffirming NATO’s support for Armenia’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and peace-building efforts.
Pashinyan also detailed the Armenian government’s Crossroads of Peace initiative, emphasizing Armenia’s readiness to unblock regional transport links based on the principles outlined in the project.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for enhancing Armenia-NATO cooperation, stressing the importance of effectively implementing the bilateral agenda.
Mark Rutte commented on the meeting on X, noting a productive discussion with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Davos about continuing NATO-Armenia dialogue and collaboration.
