Survey: Armenian authorities do little for captives return

A recent survey by Gallup International Association’s Armenian office aimed to assess whether the Armenian government is taking sufficient action to return Armenians accused in politically motivated cases in Baku.

On January 17, the trial of Artsakh’s military-political leadership began in Baku.

The majority of respondents believe that Armenian authorities are not taking adequate measures to bring back Artsakh’s leadership.

According to the survey results, 39.0% of respondents answered "definitely not," while 17.9% said "rather not."

Only 5.6% are convinced that the Armenian government is taking effective action, while 11.9% responded "rather yes."
