The Armenian Weightlifting Championship will start on February 7.

The event will be held at the Olympic Reserve State Sports College (Weightlifting Hall) in Yerevan from February 7 to 11, according to the Armenian Weightlifting Federation.

Earlier, it was announced that weightlifter Samvel Gasparyan was elected Secretary General of the Weightlifting Federation, while in January, Arayik Harutyunyan, head of the Prime Minister’s Office, was appointed as the Federation’s president.
